Narrator: Jason Wolf

"Hey!" I said, as I stood up with Star arm over my shoulder. What's pathetic is that you're destroying the lives of many! I don't know who you are, but you've gone far enough, killing the innocent and not even caring!"

[You dare try and talk me down?! Bah! We are the Exus I am an Elite. I have become the finest soldier ever built and have been trained to execute mercilessly. I'm going to kill you first...and then torture your friend until she begs for her life to end!]

I clenched my fists tight and growled at him, ready to fight. Star Cat noticed my expression and knew I was going to fight.

"Star..." I said, trying to keep cool with her around, "can you stand?"

"...Yeah." said Star, "Why?"

"I need you to step back...I'm afraid I might harm a new friend..."

"I-Alright..."

Star went back a few steps back as I unsheathed my Axe-hammer to fight this Exus bot.

[You've got guts for taking me on alone...you are a naive fool!] said the Elite.

"I want to see you take me down, you overgrown bag of bolts!"

In an instant, the Elite disappeared. I quickly looked left and right to only see that he has left the fight.

[I'm right here!]

I looked down to the voice and saw a blade running across my chest. The Elite kicked me to the side and vanished once more.

'Ah, Shit...' I thought, 'He's too quuick...what can I-Wait a second!!'

I grasped my pendant and concentrated. I began feeling such power rising inside and I was feeling nimble, to where not even the Elite could touch me...and it could be enough to stop that bot here and now.

'Good...' I thought, 'Maybe I can make this a fair fight...'

[There you are!]

I looked up and saw the Exus Elite standing over me, ready to finish me off.

[Die, you bastard!]

"Alright...if you can catch me."

I disappeared in the thin air, quickly dashing around the Elite and struck his back. Soon, the Elite was kneeling on the ground and howled. I was still running around him and struck an eye, cut off his arm, and reappeared in front of him.

[How is this possible?!] Hissed the Elite, [You're just a Mobian!!]

"You really don't get it...do you?" I said, as I stood ready to strike, "You think we are the lesser species...but you're wrong by a long shot. These Mobians have every right to live like you...why must you wage war on them?!"

[To make room for the next step in the evolution table! You fight for someone you don't even know...and yet you stand by her side to keep her safe. Well then...all I can say is Get her!!]

I looked back to see Star captured by another Exus unit, except it had a red streak. I was starting to understand the differences in the streaks...it's the rank of power each Exus unit has stored.

"I swear," I said, beginning to boil, "If you and your damn cronies harm her, you'll be heaps of iron where you stand! Bring it on, you hunk-a-junk!!"

[Kill this Mobian and bring me his head!] hissed the Elite.

I kept my head looking to the burning homes and saw dozens of Exus units making their way way to me, encircling until a full circle had been made.

"Bring it!" I shouted.

All of the Exus units charged at me with preset determination to kill me, yet it was futil as I sliced them up and stole each and every chip they possessed, forcing them to shut down forever. The Elite wasn't impressed by any of this, so he prepared to fight me.

[It's time to end this charade of Heroes!]

Narrator: None, Third Person Format

Out in the open of the outpost, stood two warriors staring each other down, ready to tear each other apart in a will of strength.

[Death shall send you to the gates of Hell!!] said the Elite, [It's time to die!!]

The Elite disappeared into thin air and so did the warrior, as flashes of light began lighting up the dusk night and in the field they were in. Among the warriors, stood a third person watching and hoping that her friend would stop the Elite.

'Oh...' thought Star, 'I hope he's alright...'

Suddenly, the second warrior reappeared and so did the Elite, except that Jason was covered in cuts, gashes and burns along with the Elite showing fuses and wires beginning to spark away.

"Jason!" shouted Star, "Are you alright?!"

"Yeah..." panted Jason, "I'm...alright...Losin' a lot...of blood...but I'm alright"

[Not bad, Mobian...] said the Elite, [...I'll let you and your friend live...for now. I leave you with a farewell, Mobian...we'll meet again.]

Soon, the Elite phased away and only left Jason and Star by the burning village. Star looke at Jason, who smiled at her then dropped to the ground. She made her way to Jason and laid his body out on his back, the only place that had the least amount of wounds.

'Damn...' thought Jason, '...I never really fought such a tough enemy. When I get back to Jountid City, Tanya and the others are gonna flip, seeing me like this.'

"Jason...hang on." said Star, "I'm calling for a pickup." Star kneeled right next to Jason and rose her hand, holding a wrist communicator. "Hello?"

"This is Zephyr, Whatcha need?"

"This is Star Cat."

"Star?! We all thought we lost you!"

"I know...Iknow. I would've died here in New Albion, but someone found me and patched me up really good."

"I'll have to meet this stranger...as for your pickup, I'm coming to get you and your friend."

"Alright..." Star looked at Jason, as he lay on the ground, barely breathing. "Hang on, Jason...we're gettin' outta here..."

Finally, after waiting for a few minutes, Star saw the ship that was getting both her and Jason out of there. It was doing the landing procedure that every pilot must go through, in order to safely land the plane. The cargo bay door opened and out came a sturdy young black and green hawk, making his way to Star.

"Hey Zephyr," greeted Star, "Thanks for comin' out on such short notice."

"No problem," smiled Zephyr, "So...this is him?"

"Yeah...this is him..."

Zephyr and Star gently held Jason and brought him into the ship.

"What happened to him?"

"He took on an Elite solo and was forced to call a draw."

"That's different..."

"It is, isn't it?"

"An Exus bot isn't supposed to back down from a fight...let alone an Elite. This guy must've forced it to retreat..."

"can you get us out of here and back to base?"

"On it."

Off they went into the sky, zooming across the air in the blink of an eye.

"So where did he come from?" asked Zephyr, through the intercom, "He really doesn't look like he's from here."

"He may be different..." said Star, while holding Jason's head in her lap, "but he saved me from that Elite...and he was incredible fighting off those Exus soldiers."

"Well, whoever he is...he'll need to go through evaluation...after he's recovered from surgery.
Finished. Go ahead and play the music video posted on my journal and read away in another tab...it'll be that good.
